Domestic Abuse e-learning

This e-learning package was adapted by Vida for Sheffield from a programme developed by Leeds Council Domestic Violence Team. It is a short introduction (around 1 hour) to domestic abuse issues, developed primarily for health workers, but is useful for any workers in contact with the public.

*Please note that some of the advice leaflets shown are now out of date [e.g. Sheffield Domestic Abuse Partnership] but the Sheffield Helpline number is correct: 0808 808 2241

Up to date information is available from Sheffield Domestic Abuse Coordination Team: www.sheffielddact.org.uk

Some of the website links for other organisations may also be out of date.

Using the programme

Click on the arrows in the bottom right corner to go forward and backwards in the programme. Within the programme, documents such as posters (pdfs) and other websites come up in another tab in your browser. To continue the programme, just click back into the 'e-learning' tab (or close the additional tab).

At the end of the programme, you will be asked for your name, organisation and email details, so we can keep track of who is using the e-learning, and provide you with a certificate for you to print (select a colour printer if possible).
